4 Night Cruise sailing from Santa Cruz to Las Bachas aboard Archipel I.

Our adventurous 4 nights route runs around the largest island of Isabela. Explore the untouched western end of Galapagos, which has just been born out of fire and the lush highlands. Nutrient rich ocean upwellings are a magnet to all kinds of marine and birdlife. It’s true that accessing this remote, less-frequented region demands longer navigation (mainly overnight), but our stable catamaran enables you to witness Survival of the Fittest, without experiencing it.

DAY 1 AM: Arrival
You will have to pay your Galapagos National Park entrance fee and your luggage will be inspected.

PM: CC Fausto Llerena
A tour at Fausto Llerena Breeding Center you can see the tortoises of Española Island, ending in the tortoise exhibit corral. Tortoises of this corral are accustomed to humans; it is an excellent spot to be photographed with them!

DAY 2 AM: Tintoreras Islet
This group of jagged rocky islets just off the coast of Puerto Villamil forms one of the most stereotypical sites of the Galapagos.

PM: Tortoise breeding centre & wetlands
The wetlands and brackish lagoons of Isabela are among the best places to spot aquatic, wading and shore birds.

DAY 3 AM: Moreno Point (Isabela)
Fresh, promising greens of pioneer vegetation contrast strongly with the dead, pitch-black lava flow that once reached the ocean at Moreno Point.

PM: Elizabeth Bay (Isabela)
At the remote Elizabeth Bay you will enjoy the best dinghy-ride of the Galapagos, which combines a visit to the Marielas Islets in the mouth of the bay, with the highest mangles in its innermost heart.

DAY 4 AM: Tagus Cove (Isabela)
Tagus Cove is a historical anchorage at the northern entrance of Bolivar Channel (between Isabela and Fernandina).

PM: Espinoza Point (Fernandina)
Westernmost Fernandina harbours one of the world’s most virgin, untouched ecosystems, and is another crown jewel of the Galapagos.

DAY 5 AM: Bachas Beach (Santa Cruz)
Strolling along its coastline, the blinding white Bachas Beach appears full of natural life. It is one of most important breeding sites for Pacific green turtles.

Meet the two pioneers of the Galapagos: Archipel I & II! These motor catamarans arrived in 2002, and offer stable double hulls, wide decks and large social areas, all of which are near to each other.

Each catamaran offers eight cabins above the waterline, with two sea-view windows. They also include clean private facilities, hot/cold water, low beds, air-conditioning, and storage space for a comfortable stay.

The Archipels have ample social areas that will complement a comfortable stay. Shared with a total of just 16 guests; the lounge, solarium, resting areas & 'Al Fresco' dining area are great choices for you to relax and enjoy the nature that surrounds you.
